  • Where does Kid Cope offer services?
    Kid Cope provides services to families living in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. For a full list of counties we serve, please visit the About Kid Cope Specialists page.
  • Is there a minimum number of sessions required for services?
    No, my goal is to help support children and families most effectively, regardless of the length of time it may require
  • Do you work with multiple children together or only offer individual sessions?
    Siblings are able to work together during private sessions, however, other children would only work together in a workshop setting.
  • Is there an age minimum that you work with?
    No! Infants and new parents benefit from the support of a child life specialist. The work will focus on parent training and advocacy support with the goal of making experiences more manageable for the family. Older children and adolescents can also benefit from the support of a child life specialist!
  • Are you able to attend a doctor’s/dentist’s appointment with my child?
    Yes, if you and your child would be most comfortable with me accompanying you to an upcoming visit, I will be happy to attend. However, my goal will be to provide extensive preparation for you through education and role play so my presence is ultimately not needed.
  • Does Kid Cope offer a payment plan?
    Yes, we are happy to provide a payment plan to accommodate your family’s financial needs.
